Purpose of processing, type of personal data and origin
The Agency for Security Research, Criminology and Criminal Policy GmbH (AgSKK) processes your personal data for the purpose of pro-
fessional communication or employment relationships, especially in the context of projects and at project-related events. In this context,
your master data (title, first name, surname, address), private or official contact data (address, e-mail address, telephone numbers), con-
tents and metadata of the communication as well as project-related data and, if applicable, cost statements and account details are pro-
cessed. You have transmitted these directly or they were collected directly by AgSKK.
E-Mails
It is also possible to contact us by e-mail, stating your full name and with your voluntary consent. The correspondingly transmitted data will
be collected, processed or stored and deleted exclusively within the framework of the statutory provisions, unless otherwise required by
law.
Legal basis of processing
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO, insofar as it concerns the initiation or execution of a contractual relationship, in all other
cases the legal basis is the legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO. The legitimate interest is to respond to inquiries
and to carry out communication in the context of projects or the implementation and execution of events.
Data deletion and retention
The AgSKK stores your personal data only until the purpose of the processing is fulfilled and legal obligations for storage (usually 10 years
storage period) do not conflict with this or you have effectively objected to the processing.
Data sharing
A data transfer does not take place, or only
• with your consent,
• in order to safeguard legal interests or to carry out tasks and for the purpose of implementing projects and project related events, un-
less your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms require the protection of personal data,
• in the framework of employment relationships
• insofar as it is legally permissible or statutory regulations require disclosure.
Data subject rights
• Correction
You have the right to request AgSKK to correct inaccurate personal data concerning you without undue delay. Taking into account the
purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data – also by means of a supplemen-
tary declaration (Art. 16 DSGVO).
• Right to data portability
You have the right to receive the data concerning you that you have provided in a structured, common, machine-readable format and
to request that we transmit this data to another controller without hindrance, insofar as the processing is based on consent (in accord-
ance with Art. 20 I lit. a DSGVO) and the processing is carried out by means of automated processes.
• Deletion request
You are entitled to request AgSKK to delete personal data and AgSKK is obliged to delete personal data without delay, provided that
the following reasons exist:
o if the collected data is no longer necessary for the original purpose;
o if the consent is revoked by you and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
o if you object to the processing of personal data and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing;
o if the personal data have been processed unlawfully;
o if the deletion is required by the applicable law.
• Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of data processing,
o if AgSKK no longer needs the data for the purpose of processing, but you need it for the defense, assertion or exercise of legal
claims;
o if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, for the time necessary to verify the accuracy of the data;
o if the processing is unjustified, but you refuse the erasure of the data and instead request a limited use of the data;
o if you have objected to the processing of the data pursuant to Art. 21 I DSGVO, but it is not yet clear whose legitimate grounds
prevail.
You have the right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 I DSGVO) with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection.
